I really don’t know if it is an advantage or a disadvantage but sincerely building web pages can be a problem because there are so many different ways to do it. But when you are surfing on the net you get some ideas of how a web site looks nice and gets some attraction. The one that keeps your eyes on most means that it attracts you and than you only have to do it in some way to get the same sensational effect. You can do it by making some notes and sketches that later on will help you to design your page.
There are programs and videos that show you how you can start with building your web page. There is no need that you will have to start with something extraordinary. A simple web page is all what you need to start with. Nobody has fallen from the sky as a master. Everyone had to start somehow. The free hosting is not very recommendable because you will have ads all over your web site, and you may not have any control over placement or content. It was quite a positive experience for the first time. Practice is the best way to do this kind of work and sometimes you will notice that you might even have some kind of a feeling for the design of a web site. But most people need a few pages until they start to come up with something great.

You can start out by doing small sites for some local businesses and get more and more practice in building web pages and soon enough you will make good web designs and even ask for more money.
